3. I think the kids who skateboard need a structured place they can go and do the skateboarding it is they love to do. Not only will it keep them off the streets and sidewalk or vacant parking lots, which can be dangerous to all, but it would also give parents a place they know their kids are at. An actual physical place to let their children go and skateboard. As opposed to the kids jumping from one empty parking lot to another in hopes of not being kicked out.
4. I personally would not use the park, but as the parent of 1 14-year-old boy who LOVES to skate I would most definitely be his taxi service to and from this park. And I would do that service very happily knowing he was skating at a safely put together actual park built just for the use of skateboarding.
5. Currently, my child skates at the old drop zone or the Baptist church on Paul Bunyan Ave. and I'm sure many other empty parking lots along the way.

i think we need a place to skate because i skate on a 2' by 10' side walk at my house and i can't skate in town and if i do i get in trouble. it would help the comunity by keepping kids off the streets and sidewalks. it would get more kids ative and it would be fun.
please build a park so i have a safe legal place to skate

ok my name is zack palacio, and we need a skate park because me and my friends either get in trouble or kicked out of where we try to skate, i would use the skate park every time i can. most of my friends skate like peter dreyer he is one of my friends . please we want to skate, this is Bemidji's chance to become a little popular!
